Meet Our West Henderson Dentists

Dr. Haris Yu began life in California and remained there until he completed his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. Once finished, he made a dramatic leap, moving to the other side of the country to complete his dental degree at Boston University.

When Dr. Yu was fresh out of dental school, he spent two years in the Boston metro area practicing dentistry. He then made another bold move back to the west, right here to Henderson, to be exact. Ever since, he’s been practicing at West Henderson Dental, changing patients’ lives in the city and surrounding regions.

While he spends a great deal of time in the office and earning continuing education credits, Dr. Yu seizes every chance available to spend with his two children, going to parks, taking walks around the neighborhood, and watching cooking and travel shows on YouTube.

Credentials:

Born in the heart of New York City, Dr. Evan Lipman brings a blend of compassion and expertise to West Henderson Dental and Orthodontics. He was raised in Buffalo, NY, until his journey eventually led him to the vibrant community of Las Vegas, where he now serves as a trusted dentist.

A proud alumnus of UNLV, Dr. Lipman holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. His choice of dentistry was inspired by a desire to bridge the worlds of his parents – a medical doctor and a speech language pathologist. For him, dentistry serves as the perfect midpoint, allowing him to help people regain their smiles and boost their confidence.

What sets Dr. Lipman apart is his commitment to transforming dental appointments into positive experiences. Recognizing the anxiety many patients associate with dentistry, he focuses on excellent bedside manner and clear communication to ensure everyone feels at ease.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Lipman is more than your dentist – he’s an avid musician, a food enthusiast exploring the culinary landscape of Las Vegas, and a tech aficionado. His diverse interests reflect a commitment to balance and well-rounded living.

Dr. Cale Forgues is not just an orthodontist; he’s a vibrant personality who infuses energy into our practice. Originally from Ottawa, Canada, he ventured to the U.S. in 2006, embracing a diverse cultural background. 

Dr. Forgues is an advocate for the transformative power of orthodontics. As a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association, he brings a fresh outlook to the field. Dr. Forgues holds a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and a Masters Degree in Oral Biology with a Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Nevada.

Dr. Forgues has always been a sports enthusiast, excelling in hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and squash during his formative years. His commitment to sports extended to college, where he secured scholarships for both lacrosse and squash, ultimately achieving a commendable country ranking in squash.

His outgoing personality and relatability make him a valuable asset to our office. He not only crafts beautiful smiles but also engages with patients, fostering an environment of excitement about their orthodontic journey. 

Outside the office, Dr. Forgues enjoys embracing nature through golfing, hiking, and spending quality time with his three energetic Vizslas in Henderson, NV.

Dr. David Raper is a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his practice. Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. David Raper’s commitment to transforming smiles and changing lives is evident in every surgery he performs. He is dual board-certified, holding credentials as a Diplomate of both the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. David Raper’s journey in oral surgery began at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, followed by advanced training in the San Antonio Military Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program. His military service provided him with unique experiences and skills, working alongside the Air Force, Army, and Navy, which have greatly contributed to his expertise and compassionate approach.

What sets Dr. David Raper apart is his calm, caring nature, and his willingness to listen to his patients. He believes that the best part of his job is the opportunity to meet new and exciting people every day. His approach ensures that every patient feels heard and comfortable, making their experience as positive as possible.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. David Raper loves spending time outdoors with his family. Whether hiking, off-roading, or boating, he embraces every opportunity for adventure and fun. As an Air Force veteran, he brings a unique perspective and dedication to his work, always striving to make people’s lives better through his surgical expertise.

Credentials:

Dr. Marwa Abulhasan was born and raised in Kuwait, the only daughter in a family of three brothers. Her upbringing was rooted in values of self-respect, determination, and the importance of family. These principles guided her to pursue her goals with passion and integrity, ultimately leading her to a fulfilling career in periodontics.

Dr. Marwa’s journey into dentistry began at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2003 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2006. She further specialized by completing a Certificate in Periodontology and a Master’s in Craniofacial Biology at the University of Southern California in 2012. Her drive for excellence in healthcare also led her to earn a Master of Medical Management in 2019.

As a periodontist, Dr. Marwa is passionate about her work, particularly the hands-on nature of the job and the opportunity to provide instant relief and satisfaction to her patients. She values the connections she builds with her patients, finding joy in helping others and interacting with them on a personal level. Known for her calm demeanor and attentive listening skills, Dr. Marwa creates a comfortable environment for her patients, ensuring they feel heard and cared for during their visits.

When she’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Marwa enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, soaking in the beauty of nature. She’s an avid traveler, always eager to learn from the world around her, and relishes any downtime she can find. An adventurous spirit, Dr. Marwa has a goal of learning to fly a plane one day, embodying the phrase “My Way” by Frank Sinatra, which she considers the theme song of her life.

Associations & Awards

Dr. Chen earned his DDS and Master of Science degrees at UCLA. He specializes in endodontic services and performs these procedures across multiple locations in Las Vegas.

He is board eligible across multiple specialties, including related surgery apicoectomy, perforation repair, immature apices service, root canal, and root canal retreats. Although this all sounds very technical, it means that he can help restore your tooth and get your smile back to full health.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading books – the paperback kind, not digital.

Tiffany Mason grew up in a large family in Indiana who filled her life with love and support. Perhaps, that’s why she’s so nurturing and passionate about patients now. Even at a young age, she dreamt of becoming a hygienist because of a positive experience with a dental practitioner and his team.

When she became old enough, she completed her education in Indiana and then moved to Nevada to pursue her career. Today, Tiffany enjoys helping patients discover dental hygiene’s true value.

Any time she has free time, she usually spends it with her friends or family, but she also enjoys traveling, exercising, and learning about new and diverse cultures.

Michelle has been a dedicated Dental Hygienist for over 20 years, bringing her extensive experience and compassionate care to Inspirada Dental and Orthodontics. Originally from Washington, Michelle moved to Inspirada in 2022 and has embraced her new community wholeheartedly, committed to making a difference by providing her neighbors with high-quality, gentle dental care.

Michelle’s journey into dentistry began as an expanded functions dental assistant in 1992, inspired by a close friend. Her passion for the field led her to pursue further education, earning her Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) degree in Rochester, NY. She later obtained a Laser certification in Las Vegas, further enhancing her skills to deliver top-notch care. Michelle takes pride in offering thorough, gentle cleanings, aiming to make each patient’s experience comfortable and reassuring.

For Michelle, the best part of her job is building lasting relationships with her patients and contributing to the health of her community. Her friendly, caring approach helps her patients feel at ease, creating a positive and welcoming environment with every visit.

Outside of her career, Michelle enjoys the simplicity of daily walks with her husband and their 13-year-old dog, a cherished routine that lets her connect with her neighbors. She also loves hosting friends and family from her hometown, showing them the scenic side of Las Vegas beyond the Strip and helping them experience the city in a whole new way.
